RE: long gourd


I hope not long!  I don't even have any females that I have seen yet.  I was
under the understanding, from the Niagara Falls Seminar, that the long
gourds only grow about 30 days, so one could grow two of them on one plant
in the typical giant pumpkin season.  This is my first year growing them, so
I have no experience, just going on what I heard.

How long is a "Long Gourd" supposed to be at this time of the year to have 
looooong gourd at the end of the growing season?   **Say that 10 times!
