Kathy, are you sure you're not from the south? The last time I drove through there I was amazed to be served BACON that had been BATTERED AND DEEP FRIED! Those southerners will deep fry anything! When I lived briefly in Texas (I am still in recovery) my in-laws had a "Fry-Daddy" on thier counter, and they would turn it on in the AM along with the coffee pot!

Seriously, I was trying to help the lad with varieties which do well in
the southern latitudes and therefore ought to have included the TROY.
I'll go eat crow ... if you'll deep-fry it.
