I know this is going to stir up a hornets nest, but...$100 top prize for
squash? I hope you don't have a squash bigger than the top ten pumpkins.
Or worse yet...a squmpkin! (Please note, this e-mail is only half
serious...the other half doesn't care since this weigh-off is on the West
Coast and I am in the Midwest. Besides, the IPGA doesn't discriminate in
any of their (three) weigh-off's...heaviest wins.)

SPECIAL DRAWING
There will be a special drawing for five (5) $100
prizes. Each entrant will be given a numbered ticket
upon registering. At the Awards ceremony after the
main prizes have been given out, each entrant except
the first and second placing winners in the pumpkin
category, will be eligible for one of the five $100
prizes. One special prize per household.
DIRECTIONS: THE PUMPKIN PATCH is located on Sauvie's
Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, Or. From
Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to
the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge,
circle to the left and loop back under the bridge,
following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2
miles until you see THE PUMPKIN PATCH signs.
