Geneva Electric (my 922.5 Emmons fruit) was pollinated with my
995 Carter plant. I was going to cross it with my 940 Mombert
but my 995 Carter plant was such an aggressive grower - just
like my 846 Calai last year - dragon roots and all.... that I
decided that these two would make a good couple.
I now have a nice one now growing on the Carter plant, huge
shoulders and heavy ribs but it has now developed a sag line
(internal split) and only the first third of the pumpkin
nearest the stem is developing normally. The rest looks like
it is not being fed properly and has just stopped growing.
This pumpkin is starting to look like some sort of alien life
form - which I've suspected all along.....
