RE: 654 Troy genetics

We will see what his track record is after this year, but being an open pollinated fruit, there are no guarantees.  I finally, after many failures at pollination, have one going on this plant.  It is about 71” in circ. With no ribs as of yet.  I am hoping for the ‘fire engine’ orange to show up by Halloween, but right now it is still pretty yellow.

 Hi guys
The 654 Troy was from the 940 Mombert 00. Two pumpkins I have seen off the 654 look exactly like a DARK ORANGE shinny smooth 723 Bobiers. Absolutely an incredible seed you will see why at the weighoffs Bob did himself proud on this one.. You orange lovers check your archives for the 654 Troy and those of you that want a 1000 LB pumpkin check your archive for the 654 Troy. Great seed and great production !!! I think I have two left myself HHHHHMMMMM looks like ORANGE in the Smith patch next year !!!!
