Don I'm just a recreational grower, but I was curious about my soil temp so I 
checked...about 80 degrees at dusk 4 inches deep I live in N.Calif. I have 2 
of the largest pumpkins I have ever had at this point in time....about 
400lbs...I planted June 1..but now I am concerned about how to procede..any advice 
would be wonderful....Thanks in advance..Art Campbell
