Kathie,

I put it directly on... that is, I put the blanket on first and the tarp over that.
I've gone out on 50 degree mornings and found everything nice and toasty
warm inside. Generally, I remove the coverings in the late afternoon until night
to allow the fruits to "breathe".

Cliff, do you put the tarp directly ON the pumpkin, or do you tent it?
Vince, I loved your 'laundry list' of coverings. David's 2 fruits are
covered with large men's bathrobes, one kinda fleecy, the other chenile.
