Tad with the Cubs Scouts again

I found some "vegiforms"  Clear plastic mods for use on Gourds, melons, globe squash, pumpkins, eggplant???, and other round fruits and vegies.   They also have molds for cucumbers.

can't speak for the giants, but I know people who have molded regular pumpkins.Put the baby in  a face shaped mold, and it turns out really cool.

Hi Dave,

I've cut the main vine directly after the pumpkin on several plants so far and it really helps to avoid stem stress. Also, I've noticed no effect on the growth rate of the pumpkin, neither positive, nor negative.
