Hey Guys
A few years ago Bob Troy gave me a Bunch of seeds Marked Collins Long Gourds
94. He said he couldn't germinate them any more. I tried it last year and I
failed, this year I took the rest of them and soaked them for a day in water
then put them all in a one gallon pot filled with half sterile potting mix and
half worm compost. well after two weeks I gave up and let the pot dry completely
in the baking sun then put a pumpkin seed in the pot and after a week the
pumpkin seed cam up with about five of the long gourd seeds so I pulled the
pumpkin plant and put the long gourds on a trellis. well I wasn't able to hand
pollinate them so I know they are a cross with my Kline Alligator Gourds but I am
Very excited to see them grow !! Never give UP ..... Take care all !!!
