Re: city water


I would say that city water "might" be an issue... it just depends on
your local water. You might want to contact the municipal water office
and find out the pH.

In a Holland video a few years back, Fred Calai makes this point. Apparently
his city water was terrible (confirmed by the local water operator) so he
went to a rain collection system and that is when he started having
success.

Joe,
            I am an urban grower and use city water all of the time when I
water , I have produced a  933 and a 895 lb pumpkins. I believe your soil
has alot more to do with it then your water supply, these pumpkins were
produced with a unproven seed .  Good Luck the rest of the year !
