If the pumpkins are set and you have the time, I would cut off both the female and male flowers. This will help the plant put all its energies into growing the pumpkins you have set. Also, if you cut all the flowers, it will help keep the cucumber beetles away.

It is an agreement I promised Mr. Beachy when he gave me the 501.5 Seeds...that I would return all the seeds to him...I will not be keeping even 1 seed for myself. Honest!
