Pumpkin plant disease?

I'm a first time pumpkin planter, learning as I go, most of it from this list,
which has been very helpful so far! My patch is way too crowded, so I expect
no giants this year, but great experience anyway. It's addicting. Can anyone
shed some light on this development in my patch. One Dill Atlantic Giant
(generic seed purchased in a packet from a store) in the midst of the patch is
developing some sort of problem, slowly dying leaves, beginning with the worst
at the base of the plant and progressing as time goes on, leaf by leaf down
the main, it's 25' to the end which is very normal and healthy looking as it
continues to grow. I have two set on the main only, extra flowers, secondary
and tertiarys are removed. All my plants are being regularly watered through
soaker hoses, routinely fertilized and doing fine. Have not had any insect
problems and have not used any chemicals in the patch other than fertilizer.
This was my best grower until now, I can scan a dying leaf and include it in
another email if it would help. Just would like to know what this is, and
should I send it to the great compost pile in the sky? It does not appear to
be spreading to other plants so far. Thanks for help!
