i BETCHA THAT PUMPKIN HAS SOME GOOD OLE lLOYD AND mETTLER GENES IN IT! Those lighter colored ones usually go heavy to estimate. Don't fret, keep the plant healthy and the pumpkin growing till weigh-off. Don

I have a giant pumpkin about 4 feet(and getting bigger) across which I amhoping will make it to a local Vermont weigh-off in October. I have kept it well shaded, and it is almost white. Do I worry about the color, or do I justgrow it big?
