RE: Squash Bug

I have a question, maybe someone has some information about this. We
have lost 2 of our pumpkins aprox weight was around 500#lbs leaves and
vines great green color as healthy as can be. Pumpkins stopped growing
for about 2 days then the pumpkin got white spots on them so they were
done and we cut them out. We have 2 more plants and hoping this does
not happen to them. Anyone have an idea what would be causing this. We
have grown giant pumpkins for 3 years and this is first time we have
lost any.

Last year those darn things wiped me out too. I got a real late start
this year. I usually have about 10 squash/zuccini plants out there.
This year I only have about 5 and they are on the opposite end of the
garden. right after things started coming up I put the dust to 'em.
I dusted hard for about 4 weeks. Didn't want to give those critters a
chance. I haven't seen any this year. Now I have pumpkins all over
the place. These AG's really make a show.
