Mr. Stokes,
Every week I brew up 50 gallons of compost tea for the 10 pumpkins and 10 watermelon plants....due to problems with a couple pumpkins...it is now down to 8..so more for them.? I just do a soil drench around the stump.?? However, I add in Fish power and Seaweed?, plus a 1/8 cup of liquid calcium...with added water ends up being about 5-10 gallons per plant.? Due to the cold weather, I have also been adding in some chemical (miracle grow 15-35-15) in hopes of pushing them harder than normal...I normally don't use chemicals.? However, I don't usually have to put on and off blankets on the pumpkins all July!? LOL
During these big growth times...insure they have enough water.? They only foliar spray I do is for pesticides and fungicides.
Good luck!

Mr. Bhaskaran,?

My two plants have been very slow this year for different reasons. Finally I have a couple of fruit that are starting to take off and wonder what your fertilizer recommendations would be. So far I have mostly used water soluble fertilizers and recently switch to one that is high in calcium nitrogen. I have a system where I can inject this fertilizer solution and can either water overhead or water through a drip system that I laid out under the plants. I am wondering if I should start a foliar spray program and if so what would you recommend. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.?

Thanks,?
