RE: Need Help for Stem Rot

I used to use it to help dry and "disinfect" pelts. It works amazingly fast.
Just threw that one out there.
Morgan Heche, the neighbor girl measured 441lbs today. Hope Jr's fruit is
well.

Never heard of anyone using Borax but it could turn out to be the next great
new thing.
The pH is strongly alkaline (9.3) so this would have an antiseptic & drying
effect.

Would 20 Mule Team Borax help wick some moisture away before treatment? Just
a thought. May be way off.

Tom Beachy swears by straight Bravo 4F (chlorothalonil 4F). I took that
advice one year & it worked. I chose that method as there was no way to keep
that fruit dry. I'd use a dry treatment like sulfur otherwise.

Kind of sick, have a big one growing and the rains we have the last couple

of days caused a split in the stem and a little into the fruit. Not sure if

I should make up a cocktail of daconil and pour it into the split in the

stem and wherever else there appears to be some tearing, in order to avoid

rot. Advice would be greatly appreciated.
