When I used Borax last year I was making a paste with some water. It worked.
This year I have been sprinkling it on strait from the box and have had even
better results. I'll paint my Daconil on the stem and then top it off with
Borax. Dry stems here in Indiana.
I do have a dang woodchuck eating $120 worth of melons a day. We just got
back from Ohio and I am going out tonight to sprinkle him with 4 shot from
the 12 gage.
