I was wondering the best method for measuring OTT? My pumpkin has a bulge

Hi, Debbie-
You should measure where you can get the largest measurement that you can
get; if it's not exactly parallel to the ground, that's quite ok. If you
want to ignore the bulge and measure above the stem because it's much easier
on you, then ok too. The 2 diff people helping, I wouldn't worry about it;
it's all just an estimate, and you'll still be able to tell whether you're
putting on 15 pounds a day or 3 pounds a day even if the daily measurement
is off by an inch or two. It's an estimate (despite being backed by
thousands of data points to create the OTT chart) because you have no way of
knowing the thickness of the skin of your individual fruit.
