Hey gang. I was wondering if soil drenching is important at this point. I do
not have a drip irrigation in place so soil drenching would be manual. Let me
state that I do not have anything near competition due to bad start of year. I
might get a 100 lbs if lucky. Very poor season. I decided to pollinate
everything that I could, including letting the open pollination's grow. I
figured that I would just assume have many pumpkins than one small one. I have
alot of leaves dying from either old age or disease. For those growing
competition pumpkins, I wish you the best of luck!
Is it even worth at this point to consider home stretch chemicals?
Debbie
