I just wanted to find out if I am dreaming or what... I wanted to have
my own pumpkins for Hallowe'en and so planted them later than you guys
have all done. I planted according to the estimated time it takes to
have them full grown ACCORDING TO THE PACKAGING. Now the vines are
growing so slow I am scared that I will be LUCKY to have pumpkins for
Thanksgiving. I feel so disappointed. My vines were taking off for a
while, but they seem to really grow slowly now. I fertilize once a week
with 15/30/15. They are getting less sun than I had expected them to.
I live in Central Texas. If I bought a grow light and put it on the
vines at night would it help? I haven't got a single blossom. Help! I
want you guys to be honest so I can know what to expect, but I also want
to be as hopeful as I can. Could I or should I fertilize more often?
Any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ever so much--
K
