Chris, Thanks for responding, I would really like to see the picture, every thing you said makes sence. One more question, I was thinking of erecting a burlap shade cloth over the leaves for the same reason, good or bad idea?? I know I have to do it over the pumpkin but I'm not shure about the leaves because I once read that each leave is responsible for pumpkin weight gain through photosynthesis. What do you think??????
