Last year someone mentioned some stuff that you mix with your sprays that
will keep them on the plants longer, keeps them from washing off as easily
as
they would without the stuff. Anyway, I found this stuff at the Agway store
called BONIDE and it is a "horticultural spreader-sticker." It is said to
improve the performance of insecticides and fungicides. Does anyone have
experience with this stuff? How good is it? How often should a person spray
if they add this material?

I have used the above Spreader Sticker (Surfactant), for many years in my
Orchard and Garden. I have never had a problem with it to date. You should
use it with all Insecticides and Fungicides unless the label says not to,
(CHECK THE LABEL). A Spreader Sticker is a critical tool in controlling
Squash Vine Borer. Use of this material doesn’t change the spray schedule
listed on the chemical your using it with, just makes it work better. This
one is Biodegradable too, so it may be acceptable for Organic growers.
