Hello,
How are the Prize winner Pumpkin seeds distributed.
Are they sold, donated lotteried, or part of a club membership
package?
I certainly would like to get a hold of a few seeds from
a Zehr 1061 or a Brock 1360, Waterman 1440 or an Anderson 1888 : ) I
realize the formula is Genetics+TLC+Luck= Giant Pumpkin.....Do all
agree?
Anyway, how can we get the odds in our favor by obtain the
Big Pumpkins' seeds?
Just planning ahead. If it's a secret I won't tell anyone.......except
those on this mailing list of course : )

Bev , I don't know how I'm going to move my pumpkin either & it's only
about 250lbs : )

Tom,
Actually, if you look at Gus Saunders Newsletter of the top 50 pumpkins of
last year. Most big ones came from smaller pumpkins of previous years.
Getting seeds from the biggest pumpkins, more often than not, results in fair
results the next year. Medium sized pumpkins with big parents seem to have a
better track record. I don't know why.
