Re: I have a 750 pounder!

Brenda,
Beware.......BEWARE...........Beware of the "Pumpkin People". They
are "connected" they are fanatics and they are everywhere. Say what you
will but don't tease the Pumpkin People. Oh they may seem harmless, but
mess with their Pumpkins and you are asking for trouble with a capital
"P". They have been known to stop entire phone companies in their tracks
to keep them from harming their precious concurbits. Its hard to say
where they draw the line.
I don't know how they do it, but they are getting more and more
recruits every day. Oh it seems harmless and amusing to learn about
growing an A.G. It seems interesting to see all the "Pumpkin People" so
worried about hormones, fertilization, nitrogen this and phosphorus that
and calcium this blah blah blah blah
blah......................Then...... suddenly..... you're hooked and
letting your spouse know that you plan on ripping out half the lawn so
there will be enough room to grow pumpkins next year and that you need
to borrow the credit card to pay for the soil tests to get the ratios
just right. You don't even say hi to your family any more when you get
home from work. You just run straight to the computer to read the 20 or
so letters to see what is going on.Then that isn't enough, you need
more.....More......MORE!!!, so you start reading all the past
contributions to the news group and then you start following all (and I
mean all) the links to and from the Great Pumpkin Page on the Internet.
It takes over your life. Soon all you do is talk about Pumpkins to your
co-workers friends and family.
Run.......Run away Brenda.......Run while you still have the
chance. While you still have a life. Its too late for me. There coming
to take me away Ah Ha.
                          Mark
