Vine Borers?

Hi,

Last evening I noticed some mushy looking vines about 3 feet from
the base of one of my plants.  I investigated and sure enough there
was a 1/2" long white "grubby" thing laying near my damaged vine.  I
removed the little bugger and found  a similar site a few feet away.
Anything I can do at this point?  Plant is doing OK and fruit is fine,
I have lots of the vine buried.  Will this plant make it to the end of
the season, or do I have to pull it now?
