Re: Milk Feeding Discussion

Well, now I know why the Zehrs won't talk to anyone (as I gather from my
lurking on this forum) about how they grew their big pumpkin - they used
milk! Seriously, why this animousity to someone (Vanessa) who is
willing to experiment with alternative ways of feeding. Quite frankly,
I find her bringing up this topic a delight - it has long fascinated me,
but it seems to make some people quite irrate. For myself, I find
advice on shooting every squirrel, poisoning every bug, pouring pounds
of chemicals on the soil slightly offensive, especially when followed by
complaints as to where all the bees and butterflies went. Anyone heard
of "Silent Spring"? After all, giant pumpkins are hardly an essential
food crop. Let people have their fun with their milk and giant
pumpkins, and whilst we're at it, what ever happened to that interesting
cloning discussion that started a while back?
