Re: deer


	Keep deer away with 1. dogs, 2. dog waste placed around the perimeter,  3.
 dog hair spread around the perimeter.  Obtain the hair by the bag full
from pet groomers.  4.  lay a wire fence on the ground around your patch. 
Deer will not step on the fence wire.  This is much cheaper than erecting a
fence with posts etc. and is just as effective - although deer can jump 12
feet easy.  5.  set up a feeding place with feed grain, etc. in a spot as
far away from your patch as possible.  6.  think venison steaks.
	My neighbors have tried it all, except # 1.  I give my dog free run of my
property and no longer have to worry about this problem.
