TOO MUCH WATER!

Help!

We have had somewhere around 8" of rain in the last 3 days and there is
more on the way. The field where my plants are is a muddy mess with a
small amount of standing water. The plants and pumpkins look great and
are growing quickly, but I am getting nervous about ending up with
rotting pumpkins. How long can they last in these extremely wet
conditions? What steps can I take to prevent rotting? This is the one
thing that could ruin my season. I really need some help on this one.
As usual, thanks in advance and good pumpkin growing to all!
