John Heilman-the OTT method is more accurate since it includes additional
information that helps make a better estimate.Many fruit are not average in
shape.
I find that for an "average" shaped fruit the circumference is near 42% of
the total OTT figure.Try yours on that test.
The circumference only estimate is great for a small fruit to monitor
gains,I switch to OTT method about Aug 1.
