Pumpkineers:
Just learned that the seeds I saved from the Baird 762/Andersen 977 fruit
picked in early June are viable. Have a volunteer plant where I hosed off the
trailer after eviscerating the pumpkin and carting it to the compost heap.
For those of you new to the list, this was an early fruit due to the Florida
heat. It was only on the vine 35 days to gain 220 lbs. Peach in color, but
great shape.
I wasn't sure if the seeds were any good, but have found out they are. If any
of you want seeds, I'll be happy to oblige. Great genetics.....
