Hello folks:
Advice required
I'll make this quick, 3 plants late starts set multiple fruit 8 to
10 days ago (really late I know) The plants aren't real big with the main
vines about 15-16 feet and seconday's 6-8 feet. We are having hot
Saskatchewan weather in the 80's & 90's day time highs. I water each plant
approx 15 gallons a day right now and have 5-8 set per plant. After 10 days
my biggest fruit is only 14" in circumfrence and they seem to be growing
quite slow. I'm fertiliazing every day with a 20-20-20 when I water but it's
not at full strength
plants look healthy a few old leaves are dying but thats it. The vines are
growing several inches per day.
why do you think the the fruit are so slow to take off? and what can I do to
help
All advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks
Dean
