Where in new York Barb? I live just across the border... in Pa... Any
where near Binghamton or Elmira, look me up. Ill show u one heck of a
squash!! Over 400 pounds now!! My sources tell me that the World squash
record is 963 pounds, and I am on pacw to go over 1000 pounds right now,
as long as I can average 1.7 inches per day between now and October 2nd.
I culled a 229 pound squash yesterday from the plant, which now takes me
down to the one. Finers crossed!! I have noticed alot of cantelouping,
which according to the book, makes it that much heavier. I can dream,
cant I!!! I will also update my page next week, so u can see it there..
I have a pictue of it on August 5th in my gfarden page and on my squash
page. Take a look!!!
