I have had the same problem on several of my plants, but I do not know
what the problem is. I discovered the rotting and leakage before it got
too bad and applied Captan. It has slowed the rotting on all the pumpkins,
but not completely on some pumpkin plants. The rotting usually occurs in
the first foot of the vine.
