Bob,
That is a great idead, but what do u do witha 250 pound culled squash?
I just culled it yesterday, and do not want to put it out front, (trying
to keep the chances of urban vandalism to a minimum) and have it in the
back, next to the compost pile? Are the seeds froma 250 pound squash
viable? Any one want these seeds? This could have been a great
squash(off of the 815 plant), but it had to make way for the 438 pound
one I have right now.
I gave Don Langevins Theory from his new book on multiple pumpkins on
one plant alot of thought, and yes, while it has happened to alot of
people succesfully growing 700 + pumpkins on one plant, and over 2800
pounds of pumpkins on another, I believe, as well as a few unmentioned -
but very big time growers on this list - that if you want the brass
ring, you have to go with one, and only one pumpkin.
