Except for one bad stem split, great! Took some of the punch out of the
pumpkin but it's still averaging 2.25" a day measured in at 37 days 120.50"
c. 8/12/98. The other pumpkin's stem split didn't completely open and seems
to have healed and no longer having an effect on the growth rate ave. 4.15"
a day measured in at 27 days 95.75" catching the other one fast. Normal
first frost around here is in the first week of sept... not much time left.
Planted 50 prizewinners in a un-maintained patch have a 78" and several at
the 50" size. This is my first year growing AG's I'm amazed! These things
are unreal! You got an update?
