Giant Mutant Main Vine

I'd like some feedback about a Greer 768 that I am growing. It's main
vine is not the standard round 3-5" circumference of all of the AGs that

I've ever seen, it is this 9-11" circumference mutant looking thing that

is shaped like a ribbon cable (wide and flat). At each leaf axle there
are 4-6 leaves, and numerous tendrils, flower buds, and tap roots.

The plant is really healthy looking with big and tall leaves, but there
are only about three secondary vines, and they have just started
growing.

Is this good or bad? Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Did I do

something weird to make this plant grow this way (I have a Lloyd 935
right next to it that looks completely normal)? I would appreciate any
feedback.

Thanks,
