Beth,
I haven't heard of crow damage but my neighbour reported sulphur crested
cockatoos ripping his pumpkins apart to get to the seeds. They seem to know
that there are seeds inside.

Subject: The heat is on
Well, today it was 106 in my pumpkin patch. I'm glad I increased my shade
this morning. Hopefully my babies will come out okay. They are rapidly
increasing in size. I should be taking some measurements, but haven't yet.
Anyone have a problem with crows? They have been pecking at my fruit
trees and today I saw them eyeing my pumpkins. So far no strikes. Mike,
how are your pumpkins taking the heat?
Cooling off in a cold spa,
