I made typo in the formula- I just modified George Brooks' excell chart. ( i hope that was OK ???- i guess i should have asked first ) i hit a 9 instead of a 6 when i typed the formula in. opps ... not a good place to make a mistake. Rocky thought he had a real monster for a day. I fixed it and send Rocky an updated version. If it is OK with George - I could send the new OTT version, the charts are all in terms of weight. ( total weight and weight gained per day) to anyone who has excell. Remember this is only good for AG's. ( and also squash that come from them) Sorry for the error and any resulting confusion. Gordon Tanner Maple Valley, WA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Pumpkineers, I recieved an updated xcel chart from Gordon Tanner(thanks Gordon), and was highly impressed. Ott covered by it, an estimator of weight, daily gains, etc, but have one question. The formula he found, and used, is the ott x 2.79 to the power of .0000795 .. This formula, while I really like its results, is about 100 pounds heavier, than the ott and circ scales given in Langevins book - HTGWCGP II. Any ideas how accurate this is? Is this the Howard Dill formula for pumpkins over 500 pounds, and is it reliable? I hope so, because it takes my 560 pound squash (measurements are 134/81/89=304) all the way up to 672.3 pounds!! YAHOOOOOO!!!!! But I am a realist, and know it is a little lower than that right now.. Any help on the subject would be appreciated. -- -- Lyle "Rocky" Rockwell <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
