Duncan-never thought about this question before.There are so many variables
but lets's think our way through your question.

Let's assume a good growing fruit will put on about 150 lbs in
September.This is probably a reasonable average for all the various climates.

So backing up,that would mean 550 lbs or about 302" OTT at the end of August.

This 150 lbs would average 5 lbs a day during September.It could be gaining
10 lbs/day
on Sept 1,tapering off to nil growth by Sept 30.

So to sum up,a good guess would be--if you have a 550 pounder at the end of
August that is gaining 10 lbs/day,then you have a reasonable chance for a
700 pounder.

You can play with the numbers any way you wish but I think this probably
shows the average case.
