Weigh-Off Time

It is now approx 42 days to the October 3 Weigh-Offs. Many are trying to keep
their pumpkins whole and others are pushing their pumpkins to the max. Some
are already saying the proverbial, "Wait till next year." Some have begun the
process of negotiating for seeds. Another season is beginning to fade away.
Site coordinators for weigh-offs are beginning to get serious. People are
thinking in terms of lifting help. This year I will be in the squash contest.
My Andersen 815 has produced a big green pumpkin and, guess what, another
fruit that is about 70% yellow and getting more orange/yellow every day on the
same plant. It isn't over yet but has anyone ever seen this before on the same
plant??
