Bill and Patti,
I am glad to see you do have some more still going, but I was wondering
what plant they are growing on? Do you still have any growing on the
815? Just wondering.. Thanks for the rooting section.. we all need a
little from time to time, with all the doubts that seem to run through
ones head this time of year..It seems as though I keep coming up with a
new problem daily on this squash, but it is pretty minor in most
circumstances. My latest is that where my dill ring meets the ground,
there is like a little mouse type hole(between the ground and the squash
itself), and I have been filling it with dirt. The dirt pushes under the
squash, but I worry that there are field mice working , and under neath
it is some lucky mouses 600 pound lunch.. I wont know until October 2nd,
whenI cut the Dark Horse from her stable and roll her over, so why give
myself ulcers?
