Hmmm...I'm not doin too bad this year, I have one pumpkin that is at about
150ish lbs and one that is at about 120ish...One on each plant. But the plant
with the 150 has another smaller pumpkin coming off a vine that is coming off
the back of the plant...Not on the main vine like the larger pumpkin (150
pounder). Now my question is: Will the smaller pumpkin be at much of a
disadvantage by not being on a main vine, or even a secondary off of the main
vine? And if I just leave this pumpkin on the vine, just to get another half
way decent pumpkin for the front porch, will the smaller pumpkin sap out much
growth from the 150 pounder?
