Re: Leaf miners (was Something Weird is happening to my pumpkin leaves)

Thanks Mark for the URL and to all who helped identify my problem. It
looks like I've got a bigger problem now. I went to the URL Mark suggested
and a few other sites as well. They all indicate that there is currently no
truly beneficial insecticide to combat leaf miners and that the best remedy
is to pick off the leaves (!) or cut the larvae out of the leaf which
leaves big holes(!!). If I do that, I will be leaving Fat Lady and the
other babies exposed to the searing sun and 100+ degrees temperatures. I'm
already afraid the heat will cause Fat Lady to abort. I guess I could pick
off the leaves and construct some kind of cover. What do you guys think? Do
you have any other suggestions?

I really appreciate your help!

Thanks again.
