O.K. Punkineers..........I have a decision to make and I'm looking for some
input.... I have a second plant that has a 35 foot main vine with a 220 lb
pumpkin 5 feet from the end of the vine(so thats 30 feet from the "stump")
......its growing 10 lbs a day, pollinated on july 30.Through a twist of nature
(and the main vine) I have a second pumpkin on my third secondary from the
stump about 12 feet off the main vine right beside the 220 lber-they are
actually now touching-not good......its growing slower,and only 130 lbs-but
would make a nice jack-o-lantern .
My question is this......being as they are so far apart on the vine(30-40
feet) will culling of the little one help increase the bigger one ?Or should I
just move the little one over? What do you think?............Thanx-GlennA.
