Time for xtra potassium?

I have not been able to find a fertilizer, locally, with a higher potassium
content. The best I have seen is a granular SCOTT's ROSE or TOMATO food. I
have seen MURIATE of POTASH, potassium chloride. This is about 40+% K. Can I
mix this with something like Miracle Gro 10-15-10 . I figure three parts by
weight of the 10-15-10 and one of the KCl would give me about 7.5-11-17. Is
KCl OK as a supplement in foliar sprays?
I should have started looking earlier. Maybe next year.
My AG Pumkins are turning orange already. Is it too late to
modify their diet with the extra potassium? Thanks.
