A friend is growing a McIntyre 835. The best pumpkin he has is 78"
circumference. It stopped growing on Friday July 30. The temperature had
been in the upper 90's for almost a week, and it hit 100 on 8/30, and 8/31.
The temps are now back to normal.
My question is: Is it over for the 78" pumpkin? Will AG's go into "shock"
from extreme temperatures? Do they ever stop growing and then start again?
