first MALE or first female?
Not all Californian's have good "growth." No matter what I do, I can't get
more than 2 inches a night out of my pumpkins. (except, one night I got 2
1/2, but only once, and only one pumpkin.) Most of them get 1 inch a
night.
I don't quite have them down to one pumpkin per plant, but I don't think
that will make much difference. Day time temps are good but night times
are
just too cold, I think.
Now, here's the good news:
My Rocky plant (1400 pacilli) got its first male flower this morning. I'd
just about given up hope. Suddenly, it's turned into a great looking plant
with big leaves and a huge main vine. LOOK OUT PUMPKIN PEOPLE, ROCKY'S
COMING !!!!!!!
