stem positioning



The further along we get in the season, the more things happen that need 
answering.  I hope you all are not getting tired of the questions.  My new 
dilemma is stem positioning.  I seen a picture on pumpkin flowers website of 
a pumpkin that grew "lopsided due to stem stress, which was not corrected in 
time."

 What would you look for to know the stem was in stress?  And how do you fix 
the problem before it is too late?
