The Carlsons here and We've had it. Second year in a row we've lost our
stumps (the 791 has got it now also) I have no idea how to stop this and
I'm really upset! I hate getting beat (by bugs or fungus). Is there a
weigh to tell what this thing is. Tonight I amputated another 4 foot of
main off the 431!! It was the size of 2" pipe. big and healthy 10 days
ago and now places I can poke my fingers through. I also lost about 4
side vines per side. It turns different places on the vine brownish and
very soft. I also noticed some white or slightly clear or murky looking
fluid leaking out of the main. I felt there 3 days earlier and noticed a
small soft spot. Dug it out and treated with captan. Today the whole
area shot!! It seems to be INSIDE the vine traveling throughout the
plant. ANY Ideas would be nice. I so close to giving it all up for
good!! Thanks
