Sorry to hear of your situation. You guys are an asset to this list and after
seeing heavy hitter after heavy hitter disappear from the day to day
postings on this list I am saddened by by the possibility of your leaving.
Hang in there and spend the winter and Fall finding out what is causing the
problem. My suggestion is that you definitely take a little time off to
recharge...get aquainted with the family again and take some deep
breathes.....but before you go-Freeze a few chunks of your problem
areas...put them in many ziplock bags and stick them in the freezer. This may
assure you of an ample supply of testable subjects....then connect with as
many Ag.Tech schools/co-ops you can.The winter months are a little slower and
they may be able to spend the extra time to solve the problem.I do believe
Brett Hester is a plant pathologist...he may have some insight on your
problem and where to go.....Dr.Harold may be able to assist in solving the
problem also.......just my thoughts.......now go catch the world's biggest
Pumpkinseed!(thats a sunfish to all you non-fishermen....and it was a very
funny pun to all those w/o a sense of humor).........G
